Socialists believe that the working class, our class, has the capacity to fundamentally transform society for the better, away from the current capitalist form of organisation and towards a society of solidarity and equality. Marxists are often accused of "class reductionism" because they focus on the working class, or they are told that "the working class basically no longer exists." This introductory meeting will explain what revolutionary socialists mean when they talk about "the working class", why it is central to socialist politics, and what this means for the anti-capitalist struggle today.
This meeting will be in Dutch, with translation to English upon request.
