
How do we build a climate movement that can beat the fossil industry?
While major polluters make billions in profits and receive support from the state, the growing climate movement is increasingly confronted with repression and violence. The answer from the climate movement is that it must build more 'countervailing power'. But how do we build such power? Are more radical actions necessary or should they be broadened? How does the climate movement relate to socio-economic struggles around wages and work pressure? What kind of connection can be made with employees at polluting companies? And how do we build a movement that builds bridges to the Palestine movement?
