The EU & the far-right. Where is the European project heading to?

The EU & the far-right. Where is the European project heading to?

The upcoming European elections are expected to be dominated by the far right. This raises urgent questions about the class character of the European Union. Far from being a progressive institution, the EU functions mainly as a capitalist commercial project that is not in the interests of the working class. But how can we formulate this criticism without reinforcing the Eurosceptic rhetoric of the far right? This session will explore how we can develop an effective critique of the EU that not only addresses current challenges, but also offers strategies for progressive and socialist alternatives beyond the EU.

This meeting will be in Dutch, with translation to English upon request.
